As a older male, i generally read nonfiction books about long distance backpacking That s what I thought I was getting in this book but I eventually figured out this was fiction That said, I truly enjoyed this book The author tells a great story wrapped around real time events, in this case a JMT thru hike I just wished I knew this in advance when the book had me in tears and reliving my own grief.
This is the first book I ve read leisurely in over 10 years and I was from disappointed Thank you Jessi for encompassing the meaning of courage and confronting reality
